Michelle is a Solicitor in the Firm’s Private Client Department, having joined the firm in October 2023. She has a keen interest in Private Client work and her down to earth and friendly manner makes dealing with difficult issues a less daunting experience for her clients.
Michelle previously worked as a Legal Secretary before returning to university as a mature student to study Law. She successfully completed the Masters of Legal Practice course at Huddersfield University, graduating in 2015. Since qualifying in 2019 Michelle has specialised in Private Client work.
Michelle advises on Wills and Trusts (both simple and complex), the administration of estates and issues for the elderly or incapacitated, including Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection, mental capacity issues and residential care home fee planning.
Michelle is heavily involved in networking on behalf of the firm and often appears on Oldham Community Radio and has been dubbed “Oldham’s Legal Eagle.”
Michelle currently spends her spare time looking after her daughter. As an escape from busy family life, she also enjoys going to the gym, running, reading and trips to Llandudno, her little haven.
